A Message from our CEO

It’s hard to believe that 2024 is halfway over. But when I look back at the last six months, I can’t help but be proud of the many accomplishments the WorldWinner team has achieved. Here’s a quick recap.

The year’s arrival was a special moment in the brand’s history as WorldWinner marked its 25th anniversary as the most trusted gaming destination where players can play their favorite games of skill, compete against real people, and win real cash prizes. Since its debut in 1999, WorldWinner has garnered more than 34 million players and awarded over $1.9 billion in cash prizes to date. It’s hard to find someone who hasn’t played a WorldWinner game. What’s your favorite? 

In February, our team had another reason to celebrate with the launch of PlatformX, an entirely new WorldWinner tech stack, reimagined with the latest technology innovations and built from the ground up to enable us to deliver a significantly improved overall user experience, enhanced tournaments, social elements, more robust analytics to our partners, and much more. It was a huge undertaking, originally conceived over 3 years ago as the “Platform of Tomorrow,” and represents the first major backend upgrade to WorldWinner in 20+ years.

Additionally, we delivered a brand new Mobile Web (MoWeb) experience and expanded our MoWeb game library from 5 to 23 games, all playable on any device at web.worldwinner.com.

Of course, for WorldWinner, it’s all about the games. In March, we launched Lotería Fantástica, a celebration of the beloved Hispanic Bingo game and WorldWinner’s fastest-growing new game ever, with over 1M tournaments played in the first month! This is our first-ever fully bilingual competitive game, where jugadores (players) compete in Head to Head and Multiplayer Tournaments for the chance to win cash and prizes. In May, we brought the fairway to players with the launch of our first sports game – Big Swing Golf. The new game transforms phones and computers into a 24/7 golf club where virtual golf links meet real-money winning, allowing players to swing for the win anytime, anywhere. We had other notable game milestones, too. This April, our Solitaire games – Pyramid Solitaire, Solitaire Rush, and Free Cell Solitaire – hit over 1 billion in plays and counting. That’s a lot of hands dealt. Plus, in May, we saluted Pat Sajak on his 41-year run as host of Wheel of Fortune, one of WorldWinner’s most popular games, which to date has over 58 million games played and over 100 million puzzles solved.

Finally, through our exclusive partnership with FanDuel, we introduced Free Cell Solitaire, Buena Match, and Deep Sea Search to the FanDuel Faceoff app, joining fan favorite titles such as  Jordan Speith’s Fairway Frenzy,  Rob Gronkowski’s Gronk’s Spike Cornhole, and MLB Grand Slam Superstar. Today, the app offers 17 games for fans to play for a chance to win cash prizes.

Beyond games, the WorldWinner team has been out in full-force at industry events to meet with current and potential partners regarding white labeling, game integration, and game distribution on the WorldWinner platform opportunities. This includes D.I.C.E. Summit in February, GDC and PocketGamer Connect in March, and Licensing Expo in May. Plus, I had the opportunity to speak at MAU 2024 this April on the topic Building and Retaining Super Users: A Loyalty Program How to Guide.
