Think you’re a gem-matching pro? Powerup Mode is here to level up your game, literally! This isn’t just a remix. It’s a full-throttle upgrade packed with new features, explosive mechanics, and a race for the leaderboard like never before.

What’s New (and What’s Gone)

Here’s how Powerup Mode changes the game:

Removed:

• 🚫 No hint button, it’s all you now!
  

Added:

• 🟨 Gold Frames: Clear them to level up.
  
• 🚀 Rocket Gems: New special gem with straight-line destruction.
  
• ⚡ Hyperspeed Mode: Double points, fewer colors, faster matches.
  
• 💥 Combo Swaps: Any two Special Gems = one massive explosion.
  
• 🔺 Powerup Meter: Charge it to evolve your gems mid-game.
  
• 🔥 Infinite Hyperspeed: Reach level 6 and ride the top multiplier to the finish.
  

Your Goal: Clear the Gold Frames

Each level starts with Gold Frames hiding behind the gems. Match directly on top, or detonate nearby, to clear them. Once cleared, you launch into Hyperspeed, where scoring accelerates and one gem color temporarily disappears from the board.

💡 Level up quickly to stay in Hyperspeed longer. The faster you go, the higher you score.

Gem Spotlight: Rocket Gem

This brand-new gem fires in a straight line, clearing everything in its path. Swap two Rockets together to fire in both directions and blast through tough board sections.

Charge Up: The Powerup Meter

Matching gems fills your Powerup Meter. When full, double-tap any gem to evolve it to a stronger form:

• Tier 0: Basic Gem
  
• Tier 1: Fire Gem
  
• Tier 2: Rocket Gem
  
• Tier 3: Starlight Gem
  
• Tier 4: Void Gem

Use upgrades wisely, place Void Gems near Specials to trigger massive chain reactions.

Swap Big: Special Gem Combos

In Powerup Mode, any two Special Gems can be swapped, regardless of color, for maximum chaos. Try these game-changing combos:

• Fire + Rocket

• Void + Void (clears the entire board!)

• Void + Special (for advanced chain reactions)

Infinite Hyperspeed: The Final Frontier

Clear all five levels and unlock Infinite Hyperspeed, the final phase where your multiplier is maxed until time runs out. Keep matching, keep evolving, and go for that leaderboard finish!

• Use the Powerup Meter to create Special Gems faster.
